Christine grew up in Texas and Tennessee before attending the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
After graduating in 1993 with a degree in English, she worked for fourteen years in marketing and advertising. In 2007 she left corporate life to explore a growing passion for writing and fly fishing. When her fishing friends introduced her to the Texas Water Safari, she recognized it as a life-altering challenge that she couldn’t resist.
